Tasked with communicating a shifting brand identity, Reelz’ in-house team created a new on-air spot to get the point across, with an updated message for viewers: It’s all law enforcement all the time on Reelz.

Curating footage from current hit shows, including On Patrol Live, On Patrol First Shift, other well-known justice programs such as Cops and Jail, as well as stock footage, our team collaborated to communicate the network’s changing image complete with new tagline: “It’s Not Reality. It’s Real.”

Together, the team created a “champagne spot on a beer budget,” where footage plays out across a multi-screen environment.

Through the spot’s progression, viewers see that the action is actually taking place in Reelz’ central control room, and it all resolves into the network’s trademark four-dot logo that was brought to life in 3D by designer Dalton Love.

The spot is running on Reelz and on its digital and social platforms.
