Ibrox Stadium, the home of Glasgow-based Rangers FC, will join the global movement of sports arenas upgrading for the digital age.

Thanks to a deal with telecommunications company Huawei said to be worth seven figures, Rangers FC fans at Ibrox will be able to participate in real-time interactions with the club, and have access to content-rich media, including club competitions, merchandising, team talk discussions and forthcoming events.

Rangers join several football clubs in the process of installing Wi-Fi, including Old Firm rivals Celtic, who announced wireless plans at their stadium, Celtic Park, last week.
