​Randy Freer, former co-president of Fox Sports, will lead the Fox Networks Group in the role of president and COO. Freer’s new duties will include overseeing Fox Broadcasting Company, FX Networks, Fox International Channels, and National Geographic Channel.

Freer, who has led Fox Sports since 2011, will continue to oversee some parts of Fox Sports as well, including right acquisitions and ongoing team and league relationships.

Eric Shanks, who was at Fox Sports with Freer as co-president, will become president and COO of Fox Sports once Freer begins his new position.
