PromaxBDA has tapped a quartet of digital marketing and creative veterans from across the entertainment industry who will share their secrets to thinking beyond the bend and driving audiences to engage in a new comprehensive brand experience.
Digital Perspectives on October 8 will feature Hulu’s social media guru Katie Soo, A+E Networks digital SVP Evan Silverman, Troika Executive Creative Director Alejandro Lopez, and social media entrepreneur Jesse Redniss of BRaVE Ventures, as they discuss how ever-evolving consumer behavior, emerging and existing platforms, and state-of-the-art technology are changing the way the entertainment industry creates content and lures audiences.
Soo rose to prominence at the Dollar Shave Club as the startup’s third hire, and is now responsible for architecting Hulu’s social media roadmap across all verticals and content libraries.
Silverman oversees all digital products and content for A+E’s portfolio of popular cable networks, including A&E, History, and Lifetime, leading a team that has earned multiple Webby Awards and an induction into the Apple iPad Hall of Fame.
Lopez most recently developed the CNN “Go There” international brand campaign, which even included turning an upfront event space into an airline terminal. He also recently completed Univision’s “Return on Influence” campaign, and Amazon Prime for Kids.
And before launching BRaVe Ventures earlier this fall, Redniss led the team that turned USA Network into the number-one cable network in digital entertainment, and introduced the concept of gamification to network branding.
BET Networks CMO & EVP of Marketing Vicky Free will moderate the discussion at the A+E Networks offices in Manhattan.
