The annual PromaxBDA Latin America Awards are open for submissions, and this year there are four new categories to enter. All of these categories specifically target networks and agencies producing content aimed at the U.S. Hispanic market. Note that these categories also exist for networks and agencies producing content only for the Latin American region.

The new categories are: General Branding/Image, General Branding/Image Campaign, Program Promotional Spot and Program Promotional Campaign.

The General Branding/Image category is open to any single video-based spot created to promote the brand image of a network, channel, station or content platform, cable or satellite provider. This category does not include idents.

The General Branding/Image Campaign category expands upon that to include any series of related video-based spots created to promote the brand image of a network, channel, station or content platform, cable or satellite provider. This category also does not include idents.

The Program Promotional Spot category is open to any single video-based spot created to promote any program or series of programs in any category, including drama, comedy, holiday, public service announcement and so forth.

And finally, the Program Promotional Campaign expands upon that to include any series of related video-based spots created to promote any program or series of programs in any category.

And here are some official details: All non-English language entries must provide English translations or subtitles for judging purposes. All work created between July 1, 2016 and July 31, 2017, is eligible for entry.
