Dance in to Hispanic Heritage Month with some of these audience TV favorites including Ugly Betty (America Ferrera), Netflix’s Narcos and One Day at a Time, Telemundo’s La Reina del Sur and more.

National Hispanic Heritage Month began on Sept. 15, the anniversary of independence of five Central American countries: Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras and Nicaragua. Mexico, Chile and Belize also celebrate their independence during this month.

Today, nearly 60 million people—or 18 percent of the American population—are of Hispanic or Latino origin. This represents a significant increase from 2000, which registered the Hispanic population at 35.3 million or 13 percent of the total U.S. population.

Promax is commemorating Hispanic Heritage Month in anticipation of its own celebrations with the upcoming Promax Latin America and Promax U.S. Hispanic awards. The global organization will join its community of entertainment marketers across four Promax Latino events: one announcing this year’s finalists on Oct. 3 in Miami, a second celebrating Latin America work in Buenos Aires on Oct. 15, a third doing the same in São Paulo on Oct. 29, and a final streaming event to announce the winners of both competitions on Nov. 14.

RSVP to join us in your city and then hang out with us online in November to see who wins gold!
