Global entertainment marketing association Promax is launching a new online resource for the entertainment marketing industry: Promax Agency Marketplace serves as a virtual exhibition floor where partner agencies can share information about themselves while displaying the full range of their skills, talents and finished work.

“When Promax used to have an exhibit floor, clients could discover a wide range of agencies and disciplines in a very short period of time all in one place. By simply walking down the aisles, they could see a wide range of design studios, promo shops and music houses, which would fuel their creative partner rosters for the year,” said Promax President and CEO Steve Kazanjian. “Today’s challenge is that since that physical marketplace doesn’t exist anymore, it’s takes significant time to find, view, hire and engage with new agencies.

“The Promax Agency Marketplace aims to be the virtual equivalent of that physical expo floor. We built a platform with the intent to drive discoverability and sampling of different creative partners quickly and in one location, while agencies have another valuable marketing platform to showcase their work.”

Promax Agency Marketplace aggregates creative agencies on a single website to “drive more scale, volume and traffic,” said Kazanjian. “It’s one arrow in your quiver of how you’re going to get noticed.”

Paired with Promax’s editorial website and thrice-weekly newsletter, Brief, Promax Agency Marketplace aims to expand brand awareness for partner agencies.

“Brief by Promax is a destination for my peers and my clients,” said Joseph Uliano, founder and executive producer at Black Label Content, and one of Promax Agency Marketplace’s first partner companies. “It’s a resource in a familiar place where we all gather three times a week. The fact that Promax is agnostic towards our community of fellow companies and is not run by a rep or a special interest makes this a great resource for potential creative partners. My expectation is that by hosting a microsite at Promax, paired with Brief, Black Label Content will be able to be find those partners organically”

The marketplace allows visitors to filter based on selected capabilities to help clients quickly find the services they seek. Each page showcasing an agency’s work includes links to similar work from other agencies, expanding visibility and traffic for all participants.

The marketplace is free to browse for anyone looking for creative marketing assistance, including broadcast and cable networks, streaming services, local TV stations, diginets and brands. Agencies included in the marketplace specialize in design, production, motion graphics and live action and as the marketplace expands, it will also include agencies that focus on music, sound, social media, and creative and brand strategy. Listings are limited to Promax partner companies.
