Pop promoted several executives across its Los Angeles and New York offices after successfully rebranding from TV Guide Network.

Those promoted include:

Nicole Sabatini as Executive Vice President, Marketing

Michelle Habel as Senior Vice President, Business and Legal Affairs

Michael Rissetto as Senior Vice President, Ad Sales Pricing and Planning

Hillary Povar as Vice President, Communications

Pop rebranded in 2015 as a destination that celebrates the fun of being a fan with original programming dedicated to what’s “popping” in fan culture.

“It has been a fantastic first year at Pop,” said Pop President Brad Schwartz. “Our ratings grew taller, we filled out our distribution pants, we went to scripted school, and we paddy-caked with over 100 new advertisers.”

“These well-deserved promotions reward our exceptional talent as we continue to build the team that drives our exciting new fan-driven media brand,” Schwartz said.

Nicole Sabatini, Executive Vice President, Marketing

Since joining the network in 2013, Sabatini has led all aspects of marketing, including brand strategy, consumer advertising, on and off-air creative, affiliate and ad sales marketing, and digital/social marketing. She was instrumental in leading the rebrand of TV Guide Network to Pop in January 2015 and oversaw all consumer and trade marketing strategies for the launch of Schitt’s Creek, marking the network’s foray in scripted television.

Michelle Habel, Senior Vice President, Business and Legal Affairs

Habel joined the network in 2004, and since then has served in various roles within the business and legal affairs department. Most recently, she negotiated agreements for several of Pop’s most pivotal programs, including its first scripted series, Schitt’s Creek, music reality series Rock This Boat: New Kids on the Block, and its second scripted series Nightcap. She reports to David Mandell, COO and General Counsel.

Michael Rissetto Senior Vice President, Ad Sales Pricing and Planning

Rissetto joined Pop’s New York office in 2014 and has helped the network drive revenue growth in consecutive years through effective yield management strategies. He has played a key role in optimizing Pop’s ad sales business operations, including the implementation of a new sales software system and identifying cost savings opportunities. He reports to Debra Wichser, Chief Financial Officer.

Hillary Povar Vice President, Communications

Povar was appointed PR Director at Pop in 2013. Since then, she has developed and executed buzz-making communications strategies for the network’s original programming lineup, including Schitt’s Creek. She reports to Leslie Furuta, Senior Vice President, Communications.
