In the week of February 29, ​Fox News’ broadcast of the Republican Presidential Primary debate led the Nielsen Twitter TV ratings with a unique audience of nearly 8.7 million. The Democratic debate, airing on CNN from Flint, Mich., came in second with a unqiue audience of nearly 6 million. Following those two political events, came ABC’s The Bachelor, AMC’s The Walking Dead—now in episode two of its winter return—and NFL Network’s Combine Primetime. Twitter traffic around PBS’ series finale of Downton Abbey, which likely attracts an older, less social audience, came in seventh with a unique audience of just over 1.5 million.
