Media research and strategy firm SmithGeiger has named Phil McIntyre senior vice president of marketing and business development.

In the role, he will oversee all new business development across multiple media platforms and partner with clients to drive their success, and fuel profits and growth.

With nearly three decades of experience in business development McIntyre possesses the expertise to help clients leverage critical insights for segmentation and brand evaluation to optimize digital, mobile, social, multi-screen, ecommerce, mobile, and virtual reality consumer touch points.

He comes from The Brand Gallery, where he served as CEO of the branding agency he founded. While there, he built the company into an award-winning global player managing campaigns for many of the world’s most recognized brands in media, sports, entertainment, consumer products, and luxury goods.

Clients have included CBS franchises, Univision, Sony Entertainment, Sinclair, CNN, Bloomberg Television, Comcast, ESPN, Starwood Capital and Hearst. He’s also built relationships and sold into multiple global markets with companies including Televisa, Dubai media conglomerate MBC Group, and Africa’s first continental news channel, Africa 24.
