HBO and the three major streaming services swept the TV series nominations for the Producers Guild of America awards, which will be handed out Saturday, Jan. 20, 2018, at the Beverly Hilton in Los Angeles.

Nominated as best produced drama are HBO’s Big Little Lies and Game of Thrones, Hulu’s The Handmaid’s Tale and Netflix’s The Crown and Stranger Things. Unlike the Golden Globes or the Emmys, the PGA included Big Little Lies as a drama series rather than a long-form or limited television series. After awards submissions for the Globes were due, HBO picked up the popular series for a second season, although it initially launched as a limited series.

HBO nabbed three of the five comedy production nominations, with the return of Curb Your Enthusiasm joining Silicon Valley and Veep, none of which were nominated for Golden Globes. Amazon’s The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel and Netflix’s Master of None, both of which were recognized by the Globes, also grabbed nominations.

In the PGA’s long-form category, Netflix’s Black Mirror, which just dropped season four on Friday, Dec. 29, joined FX’s Fargo and Feud as well as PBS’ Sherlock: The Lying Detective and HBO’s The Wizard of Lies.

Non-fiction TV nominees are ESPN’s 30 for 30, CBS’ 60 Minutes, CNN’s Anthony Bourdain: Parts Unknown, A&E’s Leah Remini: Scientology and the Aftermath and HBO’s Spielberg.

Nominated for live entertainment and talk are TBS’ Full Frontal with Samantha Bee, ABC’s Jimmy Kimmel Live!, HBO’s Last Week Tonight with John Oliver, CBS’ The Late Show with Stephen Colbert and NBC’s Saturday Night Live.

Nominees for outstanding producer of competition television are CBS’ The Amazing Race, NBC’s American Ninja Warrior, Spike’s Lip Sync Battle, Bravo’s Top Chef and NBC’s The Voice.

The PGA also honors producers of short-form programming and this year’s nominees include Better Call Saul’s Los Pollos Hermanos Employee Training, which was produced by creative agency Bacon & Sons; CBS’ Carpool Karaoke, which the Late Late Show with James Corden posted on YouTube for millions of views; Humans of New York: The Season, which evolved off of a popular Facebook page; National Endowment for the Arts: United States of Arts and Viceland at the Women’s March.
