El Rey, a general entertainment network tentatively scheduled to launch in December, has hired Scott Sansa as its new vice chairman. Formerly, Sansa was president of entertainment and syndication at Hearst Corp, where he made a rather hasty departure following a sexting scandal.

With Sansa’s arrival, ​El Rey, a joint partnership between filmmaker Robert Rodriguez and FactoryMade Ventures, has changed Antoinette Alfonso Zel’s position from CEO to the newly formed role of CMO.
