Paramount Plus mixes live action with old-school 2D animation in its new original series, The Fairly Oddparents: Fairly Odder. All 13 episodes of the show’s first season will be available to stream starting Thursday, March 31, exclusively on Paramount Plus in the U.S., Canada, Australia, the Nordic countries and Latin America.

The series picks up years after the original ended by following Timmy Turner’s cousin, Vivian Turner (Audrey Grace Marshall), and her new stepbrother Roy Raskin (Tyler Wladis). Viv’s dad, Ty (Ryan-James Hatanaka), has uprooted their life to marry his high-school sweetheart and Roy’s mom, Rachel Raskin (Laura Bell Bundy). Nervous Viv is anxious about her new life until Timmy bequeaths to her his fairy godparents, Wanda and Cosmo. Now both Viv and Roy have the ability to make all their dreams come true through the wishes they make to Wanda (Susanne Blakeslee) and Cosmo (Daran Norris) – except those wishes often turn out to have unintended consequences.

The animated original The Fairly OddParents ran from 2001-17 with 172 episodes, following the adventures of 10-year-old Timmy Turner. All of those episodes are currently available to stream on Paramount Plus. The Fairly OddParents was created by Butch Hartman.

The Fairly Oddparents: Fairly Odder is produced by Nickelodeon Productions. It’s executive produced by Christopher J. Nowak, who also serves as showrunner, and Samantha Martin. Hartman and Fred Seiberg also serve as executive producers. The pilot is directed and executive produced by Mike Caron.
