For its upcoming reboot of The Game —which aired for nine seasons, first on The CW and then on BET—Paramount Plus relocated the show from original site San Diego to Sin City and brought on an all-new cast.
The show is set in the cut-throat world of professional football and stars Wendy Raquel Robinson as sports agent Tasha Mack along with Hosea Chanchez as Malik Wright, Adriyan Rae as Brittney Pitts, Vaughn Hebron as undrafted free agent Jamison Fields, Analisa Velez as Raquel Navarro and Toby Sandeman as the league’s top player, Garret Evans.
The Game is executive produced by original show creator Mara Brock Akil, showrunner and writer Devon Greggory, Salim Akil, and original executive producer Kelsey Grammer and Tom Russo of Grammnet NH Productions. Kevin Bray will direct the first two episodes of the inaugural season. The series is produced by CBS Studios, Akil Productions and Grammnet NH Productions.
The Game debuts with a two-part episode on Paramount Plus on Thursday, Nov. 11, and then drops a new episode every Thursday for the next eight week.
