A band of Army medics stationed in Afghanistan navigate the dangerous world of war in Paramount Network’s new series, 68 Whiskey.

But despite the threatening circumstances, the group, nicknamed “The Orphanage,” employs a lighthearted take by relying on “camaraderie, various vices, and, occasionally, a profound sense of purpose to carry them through,” according to the series’ logline.

Paramount Network released the official trailer on Monday, previewing the series that blends “intense drama and irreverent humor.” It marks the first series to premiere on Paramount Network in 2020, as well as the first scripted series since Yellowstone, the Kevin Costner-led drama that will return for season three in summer 2020.

With the series also comes Inside 68 Whiskey, an in-depth look featuring interviews with the cast, crew and creators Ron Howard and Brian Grazer. Check out the spot below:

68 Whiskey stars Sam Keeley, Jeremy Tardy, Gage Golightly, Cristina Rodlo, Beth Riesgraf, Lamont Thompson, Nicholas Coombe and Derek Theler. It premieres Wednesday, Jan. 15 at 10:00 p.m. ET/PT.
