Christmas is a popular time for original holiday movies and OWN is getting into the holiday game with a few shows of its own.

Former pastry school rivals and one-time hook-ups Julian (Finesse Mitchell) and Brianna (LeToya Luckett) meet again when both are cast in a TV baking competition in The Great Holiday Bake War. But while they are set up as competitors, they find themselves collaborating on more than just cupcakes and cookies.

And so-called “queen of crisis management,” Nicole Barnes (Eva Marcille) gets a tough assignment when she’s asked to handle a breaking scandal for former pro footballer-turned-TV-commentator Jordan Davies (Devale Ellis) in A Christmas Fumble. However, when Nicole fails to disclose that she and Jordan were once boyfriend and girlfriend, the conflict of interest could end her own hopes of being made partner.

The Great Holiday Bake War is produced for OWN by MarVista Entertainment in association with Harpo Films. Executive Producers include Carla Gardini, Neshama Entertainment’s Suzanne Berger and Arnie Zipursky, and Megan Ellstrom, Larry Grimaldi, Hannah Pillemer and Fernando Szew for MarVista Entertainment. Lauren Tuck is co-producer.
