Starting today, fans of all of Tatiana Maslany’s many faces on “Orphan Black” have a reason to celebrate, and even more of a reason to stay glued to their Instagram accounts. Not only is the clone-filled thriller returning in less than two months, but now viewers can check out sneak peeks to the new season via the show’s Instagram and YouTube accounts.

As part of an eight-day series, BBC America and “Orphan Black” will use the show’s Instagram account (@OrphanBlackTV), which has more than 2,600 followers, to release daily sneak peek videos to the new season. The first was posted today and shows a clone-on-clone confrontation between Sarah and Rachel (both played by Maslany).

“Orphan Black” will debut its second season April 19 on BBC America.

Brief Take: For a show with a fan following as strong and devoted as this one, BBC America is choosing the right path in slowly teasing out the show’s return. The slow burn should get loyal fans excited and spread word of mouth to those trying to catch up on the show before its April season premiere.
