Nat Geo and creative agency Image Factory DC had some fun with compressed air and heat guns in this season-five spot for docu-series Life Below Zero.
To visually demonstrate the idea of temperatures dropping, the creative team iced over a thermometer using the compressed air and then melted the frost away with a heat gun, and then played that over in reverse and slow motion.
Season five of Life Below Zero, featuring an array of hardy folks, premieres Thursday, July 13, at 9/8 c on National Geographic.
