​In an effort to test its technology for measuring mobile TV viewing, Nielsen has teamed up with ABC and the network’s new live viewing app, Watch ABC. Nielsen hopes to get better information from users on smartphones and tablets with its Nielsen Online Campaign Ratings system. ABC is taking advantage of the test in order to get demographic information on its newly announced Watch ABC app, which is live in a few markets now but officially launches this fall.
