Nicole Kidman is the subject of yet another police investigation in HBO’s new psychological miniseries, The Undoing.
Based on Jean Hanff Korelitz’s novel “You Should Have Known,” the series follows a seemingly perfect woman (Kidman) whose idyllic life is rocked by “a violent death and a chain of terrible revelations.” The first teaser previews these events as she dismantles her life to uphold what’s left for her career, family and well being. However, there’s truly no telling what’s in store, Kidman revealed during winter TCA earlier this month.
“It’s so twisty and nothing is what it seems,” Kidman said. “Choosing to ‘unknow’ things is a fascinating part of human nature — when and what you choose to believe and what you choose to see.”
Hugh Grant also stars in the six-part series, which hails from Big Little Lies creator David E. Kelley. The Undoing will premiere this May on HBO.
