Migos just couldn’t wait for Narcos: Mexico. So Netflix gave them their own private screening as part of a series of promos where the streamer teamed up with the two of the three rappers to promote season one of the next chapter of the show.

Quavo and Takeoff, along with DJ Durel, are not shy about providing their own commentary as they sit down to watch the new chapter, which explores the origins of the modern drug war by going back to its birth in Mexico. It centers on the rise of the Guadalajara Cartel in the 1980s as Félix Gallardo (Diego Luna) takes the helm, and comes up against DEA agent Kiki Camarena (Michael Peña).

In another promo, the rappers re-enact a scene from the first season.

And Netflix stopped by to pick their brains in general, asking them about the shows they’re watching on the platform, and their favorite characters (ahem, Luke Cage).

The promos debuted just as Netflix launched a pop-up artificial corn “marijuana maze” in Manhattan—a nod to Gallardo as “The Rockefeller of Marijuana,” and the DEA’s burning of his cannabis field, which was one of the biggest drug seizures in history. (photo slideshow above)

The immersive experience combined historical storytelling and key photo opps to transport fans into the new series as they chose to walk the path of either the DEO or the cartel, navigating a mirror-clad maze while breathing in the smell of cannabis.

The free, rooftop activation at City Vineyard for those over 21 also featured “dope swag” and combated the munchies with churros, Mexican hot chocolate and tequila. It’s open to the public Thursday, Nov. 15 through Saturday, Nov. 17.

Narcos: Mexico premieres Friday, Nov. 16 on Netflix.
