After series star Kevin Spacey was removed from the show due to a series of serious sexual misconduct allegations, Netflix resolved to give the series that started it all one more season.

When House of Cards returns this fall, Claire Underwood (Robin Wright) is finally sitting in the Oval Office, achieving what has been her true — but unrevealed — goal all along.

“We’re just getting started,” Claire says, promising a rollicking wrap-up to the political potboiler.

Besides Wright, the series added Diane Lane and Greg Kinnear for its final season. It also stars Michael Kelly, who recently appeared in Three Billboards Outside of Ebbing, Missouri, Jayne Atkinson, Patricia Clarkson, Cody Fern, Constance Zimmer, Derek Cecil, Campbell Scott and Boris McGiver.

House of Cards is executive produced by show runners Melissa James Gibson and Frank Pugliese, along with Wright, David Fincher, Joshua Donen, Dana Brunetti, Eric Roth, Michael Hobbs and Andrew Davies. The series was created by Beau Willimon and is produced by Donen/Fincher/Roth. MRC, which also produces Ozark for Netflix, is the producing studio.
