Marvel’s success both on the big screen and with ABC’s new series, “S.H.I.E.L.D.,” is translating into live-action series and miniseries for other beloved Marvel characters. But this time, they’re heading to Netflix.

Daredevil, Luke Cage, Jessica Jones and Iron Fist will appear in series for Netflix beginning in 2015, as a part of a larger deal Disney, which owns Marvel, has made with the streaming giant. The series will be set in Hell’s Kitchen, NY, and the four series will come together with “The Defenders” miniseries that teams up Marvel’s “dream team of self-sacrificing, heroic characters.”

The deal adds up to about 60 episodes surrounding the four characters and will help Netflix beef up its original programming offerings.
