NBCU‘s Digital.Amplified event on Wednesday brought about many announcements for the net’s digital initiatives, including a live second screen co-viewing event with the band for E!‘s new series “The Wanted Life,” a live-streamed competition series for NBC and digital studios for NBCU News Group. Telemundo has also announced that it will be the first US Hispanic partner for Zeebox, the second screen app picking up steam with both users and network partners, and will help Telemundo’s interactive strategy going forward.
The new live, on-air and online, competition series “The Million Second Quiz” might be the one to watch, as instead of just yelling at the screen during “Jeopardy,” viewers will be able to play along from home and watch primetime or via live stream.
