​More changes are coming to Nat Geo - Emmy-nominated Tim Pastore has been tapped to fill the position of president of original programming National Geographic Channel.

The former EVP of production and development at National Geographic Studios will make the transition over to the network side on Aug. 18, where his role will add oversight of programming for Nat Geo U.S. Heather Moran, EVP of programming and strategy, and Alan Eyres, SVP of programming and development, will both report to Pastore.

Pastore’s appointment comes months after both Howard Owens and David Lyle left the company, leaving David Hill as chairman and Courteney Monroe (also a PromaxBDA Board Member) as CEO.
