For this series of spots, Nat Geo and Nat Geo Wild glean some social-distancing lessons from denizens of the natural world, such as otters’ (above) proficiency in constant hand-washing, or bears’ ability to clearly convey their need for some alone time.

“At Nat Geo Wild, we realize that animals know best, so we’re letting them do the talking,” said Janet Han Vissering, senior vice president, development and production, Nat Geo Wild, in a statement. “Amazingly, animals have the innate ability to adapt to whatever Mother Nature throws their ways. We can take a lesson by adapting these behaviors ourselves – now’s not the time to be sitting ducks!”

Nat Geo Wild started airing the PSAs this week.
