Former Sundance Now GM Nada Arnot has been named senior vice president of marketing at BritBox North America, the U.S. arm of the streaming service founded by BBC Studios and ITV. Arnot reports to Emily Powers, head of BritBox North America.
“When I became head of BritBox North America, one of my priorities was to develop our executive team and with Nada’s proven leadership and accomplishments in streaming, I am confident that she is exactly what our team needs as we continue to grow in North America and beyond,” said Powers in a statement.
Prior to overseeing Sundance Now, Arnot was head of marketing for AMC Networks’ SVOD Business, where she was charged with building the operating model, KPIs and annual strategic plans for AMC Networks’ subscription streaming video services.
“I am thrilled to join the BritBox North America family and begin working on a brand that already has an authentic identity that is globally recognized. I believe this is an especially exciting time to be involved as interest in British entertainment is on the rise. I’m looking forward to engaging the service’s ever-expanding audience with fresh ideas involving all channels,” said Arnot, also in a statement.
