Teen Wolf will not go quietly into the night. Instead, the show will return to San Diego’s Comic-Con for one last hurrah to fans, just as the sixth and final season premieres.

MTV set a release date of July 30 at 8 p.m., moving the series to a significant Sunday night timeslot as it comes to a close.

At Comic-Con, Teen Wolf is going big with a takeover of Hall H, the largest, 6,000-seat venue at the convention center, along with a panel on Thursday, July 20 at 2 p.m. It will feature cast members Tyler Posey, Dylan Sprayberry, Shelley Hennig, Cody Christian, Khylin Rhambo and executive producer Jeff Davis.

The event will include an extended sneak peek of the final season, where the last 10 episodes focus on Posey’s Scott and his pack on the eve of their departure to college, as a new enemy rising in the shadows threatens the fate of everything they hold dear.

Cast will also hit the convention floor for autographs on Friday, July 21 from 10 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. at Fox Booth 4229, which will include limited edition Teen Wolf posters for attendees.

Also on Friday, the network will throw an interactive “MTV Fandom Fest” experience hosted by Posey, which will include activations, live music, giveaways and more.

In the meantime, MTV revealed a teaser (posted above) that shows Scott looking troubled as he fades into the mist, along with end cards that warn: “The Final Fight … Be afraid.”

Teen Wolf has been a staple at Comic-Con, and this marks the show’s eighth visit. For the past two years, convention data has ranked the show as the most social series, Variety reports, and MTV has used the event to announce breaking news. Last year, the network revealed the sixth season would be the last.
