MTV has announced a new live multi-platform event series Wonderland, marking the network’s re-entrance into airing a weekly live television show for the first time in 20 years.

Hosted by Melissa Jefferson AKA “Lizzo”, Myke Wright, and Steak, each one-hour episode will feature live music performances with the goal of having the show serve as a “place of music discovery.” Headliners for the premiere episode include Tinashe, Ty Dolla $ign and Broods.

What’s unique about the MTV’s Wonderland is that not only will audiences get up-close and personal with live performances, but also MTV is providing content on multiple social platforms, says the network. MTV’s Snapchat, Twitter and Instagram accounts will serve behind-the-scenes and live-performance coverage on the same night as the show airs so that viewers can get an immersive point of view.

Wonderland debuts on MTV for its first 10-episode season on September 15.
