Comic-Con attendees hardly have time to eat, drink or relax during the annual conference, but Mr. Robot has them covered.
USA Network brought the show’s Bank of E to SDCC for an activation where fans can register for their very own E-Coin cryptocurrency card online or in-person at the Bank of E, located at 327 4th Avenue, across from the San Diego Convention Center.

Once registered, they can head next door to the Red Wheelbarrow BBQ restaurant and use their newly minted E-Corp card to grab a pulled pork sandwich meal, courtesy of Mr. Robot. The on-site experience also doesn’t end there. As fans know, nothing is what it seems in Mr. Robot.
As the second season progressed, those around Elliot started to become more loyal to the cause and plans set forth by Mr. Robot, while Elliot himself began having regrets. Ending the season on a cliffhanger, Mr. Robot viewers were left wondering about Elliot’s fate, which hangs in the balance.
For a hint at what’s to come when season three returns in October, Daily Brief recommends that attendees check out the Red Wheelbarrow BBQ activation and search the restaurant for clues while there. Find something cool? Tweet us @PromaxBDA to share what you’ve found!

The network also partnered with 22 local retailers across San Diego’s Gaslamp to offer their audience the opportunity for a nourishing break or the chance to score some swag (think a slice of pizza or a Red Wheelbarrow t-shirt). And it just so happens that all participating retailers are also fans of the show themselves, providing a fun experience for both attendees and businesses.
SDCC goers can see a map of all giveaway locations at my.e-coin.com after they register.
