Josh Beaumont and Chris Nesheim are the new co-creative directors of Mob Scene’s Theatrical division.

In their new positions, Beaumont and Nesheim will continue their editorial work, collaborate with executive vice president Craig A. Platt on creative campaigns, mentor young talent within the agency, and help Platt grow the agency’s theatrical division. Thomas Grane, CEO of the Hollywood-based entertainment marketing agency, made the announcement Thursday.

“The key to success in the entertainment marketing industry is to work with the brightest and most creative talent available,” Grane said in a statement. “Josh and Chris certainly represent the cream of the crop…We are proud to be promoting Chris to his new post, and delighted to be adding Josh Beaumont to our award-winning team.”

Platt, who has worked with Beaumont in the past and Nesheim over the last three years, believes the duo will continue to exhibit and apply their editorial talent and develop creative ways to “find unique and impactful ways to sell films.”

“They can work successfully to shape creative campaigns by collaborating closely with both filmmakers and every other contributor along the way, including those in production, graphics, music, editorial and copywriting,” Platt said. “Josh and Chris can always be counted on to go above and beyond the call of duty – their commitment to excellence is unmatched.”

Before joining Mob Scene, Beaumont, who has 17 years of experience in the entertainment marketing industry, was a producer and senior editor for Buddha Jones, working on recent marketing campaigns for Night School, Life of the Party and The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel.

Nesheim, who is being promoted within the agency, had been a senior editor at Mob Scene since 2012, working more recently on campaigns for Aquaman, The Accountant and more.
