Entertainment marketing agency Mob Scene is launching a dedicated broadcast and streaming group that Cary Sachs will lead as executive vice president, said Thomas Grane, Mob Scene’s CEO, on Monday.

Sachs will report to John Zaffarano, Mob Scene’s president of global creative marketing. In this new position, he will be responsible for leading and expanding the Los Angeles-based agency’s existing capabilities.

Sachs comes to Mob Scene from Ant Farm, which he founded and where he was president of television and streaming. Prior to that, he was chief marketing officer and senior vice president at Hollywood-based Pongo.

Mob Scene works across the entertainment industry, in film, advertising, branded integration, television production and post-production, creating everything from Instagram videos to 90-minute live broadcasts to 360-degree campaigns. The agency also has produced five TV shows.

Most recently, Mob Scene has worked on promotional campaigns for movies such as Ready Player One, Wonder Woman, The Greatest Showman, Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle, A Quiet Place and more. In TV, Mob Scene has produced campaigns for such series as Netflix’s Ozark, Orange is the New Black and Stranger Things as well as Hulu’s The Handmaid’s Tale, AMC’s The Walking Dead and many more.
