Otis (Asa Butterfield) and Maeve (Emma Mackey) are back in school but out of business as season two of Netflix’s Sex Education kicks off, but a school-wide chlamydia outbreak soon has them reconsidering their decisions.

Meanwhile, Otis’ budding relationship with Ola (Patricia Allison) hits a rough patch when they learn their respective parents are also in a budding relationship. And Eric (Ncuti Gatwa) suddenly finds himself the object of the new kid’s affections.

Sex Education is written and created by Laurie Nunn and produced by Eleven. Season 2 is directed by Ben Taylor, Alice Seabright and Sophie Goodhart. Taylor, Jamie Campbell and Laurie Nunn are executive producers on the series.

Season two debuts on Netflix on Friday, Jan. 17.
