Nine clones, two seasons and one great actress in Tatiana Maslany. Set your DVRs: this Saturday marks the second-season return of BBC America’s “Orphan Black.” The show already has spectacular word-of-mouth behind it, but BBC America also has been lavishing it with promotion since November, much of that tied to such big events as Doctor Who’s 50th anniversary.

In November, BBC America kicked off the six-months long campaign with new key art and a trailer. Come Christmas, when the network could take advantage of its “Doctor Who” Christmas special, it released another trailer that helped to explain the clone saga to curious newcomers.

The sci-fi series then turned to Instagram, posting eight sneak peek clips over eight days to its @OrphanBlackTV account, which was able to up its followers to 11,500 and counting.

The clones have continued to interact throughout the show’s promos over the past few months, with a lot of focus on fights. This trailer’s fight offers the quote: “There’s nine of you.” “No! There’s only one of me.” We leave it to viewers to judge.

Most recently, BBC America has been showcasing each clone, shining a light on how different they really are (despite the fact that many are played by the same actress). In a series of “Inside Orphan Black” videos, we’re introduced to the show’s leading clones:

Going even further down this road, some of the clones got their own character posters as well, with each one focusing on the human relationships that populate this sci-fi thriller. (Also, in the poster below, note that Maslany is joined by Michiel Huisman, who you might also have seen on HBO’s “Game of Thrones” and ABC’s “Nashville.”)
