“They’re our parents. How could they be such monsters?”

“We can fix the world that they broke.”

Hulu dropped the trailer and key art for season two of Marvel’s Runaways, which finds the kids having left their homes and evil parents, and learning to live on their own.

As they scavenge for food, search for shelter and take care of one another, they begin to realize that, for better or worse, they’re stuck with each other in their mission to take down PRIDE once and for all.

The trailer also shows them “figuring out how to use their powers together, as a team,” and learning to trust each other.

But someone sends a mysterious message to Jonah, leading to suspicions that there’s a mole in the Runaways, and he has a dangerous plan in mind. Meanwhile PRIDE is focused on finding their children … “and a six-and-a-half-foot deinonychus.”

The series stars Rhenzy Feliz, Lyrica Okano, Virginia Gardner, Ariela Barer, Gregg Sulkin, Allegra Acosta, Annie Wersching, Ryan Sands, Angel Parker, Ever Carradine, James Marsters, Kevin Weisman, Brigid Brannagh, James Yaegashi, Brittany Ishibashi, Kip Pardue, and Julian McMahon.

Marvel’s Runaways is executive produced by series showrunners/writers Josh Schwartz and Stephanie Savage (The O.C., Gossip Girl) along with Marvel’s Head of Television, Jeph Loeb (Marvel’s Jessica Jones, Marvel’s The Defenders). Fake Empire’s Lis Rowinski will produce as well. Marvel’s Runaways is a co-production with ABC Signature Studios.

Marvel’s Runaways premieres December 21 on Hulu.
