Daredevil, just one of many of Netflix’s upcoming Marvel series, now has a dark 90-second trailer that shows the unlikely hero in action.

The new series stars Charlie Cox as the blind hero (aka Matt Murdock). In the trailer, Daredevil is struggling with his life choices, saying via voiceover confession: “I’m not seeking forgiveness for what I’ve done, Father. I’m asking forgiveness for what I’m about to do.”

Marvel’s Daredevil will be released April 10 in all Netflix territories in 13 one-hour episodes. The streamer’s Jessica Jones series, starring Krysten Ritter, may be the next Marvel series to debut, with projects for Luke Cage and Iron Fist to come.
