If you thought Endgame was truly the end for the world’s mightiest superheroes, Marvel and Square Enix are here to prove otherwise.

The powerhouse gaming company unveiled its upcoming launch, Marvel’s Avengers, during its E3 presentation on Monday. The game—which takes place outside of the events of the film franchise—focuses on the Avengers five years after tragedy strikes San Francisco and superheroes are outlawed.

But with “the world in peril, the only hope is to reassemble Earth’s Mightiest Heroes,” Square Enix says.

The character-driven story features all of the franchises’ iconic heroes, including Captain America, Iron Man, the Hulk, Black Widow and Thor. In the above trailer, they’re seen fighting the battle that led to their disbandment before coming together to save the world…again.

A beta version is available for PS4 players who pre-order the game. Otherwise, Marvel’s Avengers is set to launch May 15, 2020, for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Stadia, and Windows PC.
