The battle for the Mongol empire ignites in Netflix’s release of the trailer and key art for season two of Marco Polo.
The historical drama, based on the famed explorer’s adventures in Kublai Khan’s court in 13th Century China, and the dark and tempestuous battle for the expanding Mongol empire, premieres July 1.

The 10-episode second season features new and returning cast, including Lorenzo Richelmy, Michelle Yeoh, Benedict Wong, Joan Chen, Zhu Zhu , Tom Wu, Olivia Cheng, Claudia Kim, Rick Yune, Remy Hii, Mahesh Jadu and Uli Latukefu.
Marco Polo is executive produced by John Fusco (Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron) along with Dan Minahan (Homeland, Game of Thrones), Patrick Macmanus, Harvey Weinstein, Bob Weinstein and Elizabeth Sarnoff.
