Maral Mofrad has been named vice president of 360 design at Showtime Networks Inc., the network said.

In her new position, she’ll lead design efforts across all of Showtime’s consumer marketing, including print, on-air and digital. She reports to Garrett Wagner, senior vice president of creative and executive creative director.

Mofrad joins Showtime from Netflix, where she led the streaming service’s Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) regional creative design team, working on such titles as The Witcher, La Casa De Papel (Money Heist), Sky Rojo and Tribes of Europa on both the product and marketing sides.

While at Netflix, she was a leading advocate in bringing together people from diverse cultures and communities and setting up initiatives to help elevate the global cultural intelligence and sensitivity of the creative within the company’s cross functional teams.

Previously, Mofrad worked in the entertainment advertising business in Los Angeles in a 360 capacity on the agency side. She has also served as executive director and CEO of a non-profit 501c animal rescue organization.

A native of Tehran, Iran, Mofrad has degrees from the Tehran University of Fine Arts and the School of the Art Institute of Chicago (SAIC). She lives in Los Angeles.
