WGN America’s Manhattan took home the award for Excellence in Title Design this week at SXSW - beating out not only other television contenders, but also big names from film and video games.

The Manhattan title sequence, created by Imaginary Forces, evokes family life in 1940s Los Alamos juxtaposed against international secrets and real threats.

Imaginary Forces won against a list of 22 other finalists that also included 22 Jump Street, American Horror Story 4: Freakshow, As Above, So Below, Captain America: The Winter Soldier, Destiny: Mars, Godzilla, Halt and Catch Fire, The Leftovers, Man in the High Castle, Marco Polo and Silicon Valley.
