Season four of Syfy’s The Magicians returns to the network on Wednesday, Jan. 23, at 9 p.m., the network revealed to fans Friday at New York Comic Con. There, Syfy also hosted a panel including Magicians author Lev Grossman and co-creators, co-executive producers and co-showrunners John McNamara and Sera Gamble.

On Thursday, Oct. 18, the series’ cast will participate in a Facebook Live event with fans and host Candis Cayne.

The Magicians follows a group of friends who attend a magical college and then find themselves in the magical but dangerous land of Fillory, where they ultimately become kings and queens.

In the trailer above, a mind-wiped Margo (Summer Bishil)—who now goes by Janet and has forgotten that she ever had magical powers—is visited by Ember, one of the Gods of Fillory. He commands her to return to Fillory to save it from whatever evil is threatening it at the moment.

The show stars Jason Ralph, Stella Maeve, Olivia Taylor Dudley, Hale Appleman, Arjun Gupta, Bishil, Rick Worthy, Jade Tailor, Brittany Curran and Trevor Einhorn. Besides McNamara and Gamble, it’s executive produced by Chris Fisher, Henry Alonso Myers and Groundswell Productions’ Michael London and Janice Williams.
