Jackson Lamb (Gary Oldman) is back as the slovenly but brilliant leader of the “slow horses,” a group of MI-5 misfits who work from Slough House and find themselves having to go places more officially sanctioned spies do not.
In season two of Apple TV Plus’ Slow Horses, a sleeper cell of agents has been activated in London and seems to be prepping an attack against thousands of civilians unless the slow horses can stop it. The official trailer is set to The Clash’s imitable “London Calling.”
Season two is based on book two in Mick Herron’s Slow Horses series. Besides Oscar-winner Oldman, the series also stars Oscar-nominee Kristin Scott Thomas, Jack Lowden, Saskia Reeves, Rosalind Eleazar, Dustin Demri-Burns, Christopher Chung, Freddie Fox, Chris Reilly, Samuel West, Aimee-Ffion Edwards, Kadiff Kirwan and Oscar-nominee Jonathan Pryce, who also starts in season five of Netflix’s The Crown, premiering November 9.

Season two of Slow Horses, with six episodes, returns to Apple TV Plus on December 2.
