In a surprising move in content distribution, Logo is releasing a new soap opera via Vine, Twitter’s six-seconds-or-less video platform.

In Logo‘s press release, they say that “The Vines of Sauvignon Blanc” will be released “unapologetically on Vine.” Each one of its 22 episodes will be released in over-the-top six-second increments, leading up the ultimate in binge viewing, as the entire season will add up to only two minutes.

Each Logo episode will be released Monday-Friday like a network soap opera, but the season’s conclusion sneaks up on the viewer a bit faster than traditional soaps. We will no doubt quickly find out what the wealthy wine mogul does with his last moments after he is told he only has two minutes to live.

Check out the first episode here.

Brief Take: This is a fun and clever usage of Vine’s seemingly endless capabilities, though it’s hard to say how many soap opera fans are the kind of people who also use Vine.
