Twenty years ago, Tori Spelling starred in Mother, May I Sleep With Danger, a horror film that never quite made it into theatrical distribution but ended up as a TV movie on NBC.
Spelling played Laurel, who thought she had found the perfect boyfriend in Kevin (Ivan Sergei) but in fact had to learn the hard way that she had instead found the perfect psychopath.
On June 18, James Franco brings his remake to Lifetime, this time starring Spelling as a mother who’s not quite ready to hear the truth about her daughter. If only she knew the whole story.
Mother, May I Sleep With Danger airs June 18 on Lifetime at 8/7 c.
