In season one of FX’s Legion, based on the X-Men character of the same name, the audience took a trippy ride before learning that there’s much more to David Haller’s assumed mental illness than was first apparent.
Season two continues that exploration—trying to get to the root of Haller’s vast but untapped powers—and it doesn’t appear that the story is going to get any less strange along the way.
Legion stars Downton Abbey‘s Dan Stevens as Haller and Rachel Keller as his girlfriend and fellow mutant, Syd. The series also stars Jean Smart, Jeremie Harris, Amber Midthunder, Bill Irwin and Aubrey Plaza.
The series is created and executive produced by Noah Hawley (Fargo), along withJohn Cameron, Lauren Shuler Donner, Simon Kinberg, Jeph Loeb and Jim Chory. Legion is produced by FX Productions and Marvel Television, with FXP handling the physical production.
Legion returns to FX for its season season on Tuesday, April 3, at 10 p.m. ET/PT.
