Los Angeles-based production company and animation studio, Laundry Studio, has hired Emily Rivvers as executive producer and promoted Pip Malone to head of production.

Rivvers comes to Laundry after years spent as an executive producer in both the commercial and post-production industry. She is based out of Laundry’s new San Francisco office, where she’ll be responsible for sales, client relations, bidding, scheduling and oversight of creative producers throughout production and delivery.

“Emily comes to us with everything needed to continue to grow the Bay Area market and take good care of our clients,” said James Sweigert, Laundry’s CEO and managing director, in a statement.

Malone, who joined Laundry in 2021 from Method Studios where she was a senior producer for more than 10 years, will oversee Laundry’s entire ecosystem as well as manage aspects of the company’s internal production, including recruiting, staffing, production management, workflow, systems and producers.

“I am extremely passionate about supporting Laundry’s mission to bring the very best creative storytelling to market and deliver outstanding content across the entire US and beyond,” Malone said, also in a statement.
