It’s always a great feeling when time passes, but the relationships with the people you know and love remain the same.
People like Larry David, who returns to Curb Your Enthusiasm after the show’s six-year hiatus. As he yoo-hoos a judge, yells at a woman sobbing during a funeral, knocks down an aggressive perfume sprayer, and gets kicked out of multiple homes—and a bus—HBO’s season nine trailer indicates that “nothing has changed.”
This season also features the return of series regulars Jeff Garlin, J.B. Smoove, Cheryl Hines and Susie Essman, as well as guest stars such as Bryan Cranston, who plays David’s therapist, and Portlandia’s Carrie Brownstein, an employee of David’s who takes time off for constipation.
The 10-episode season of Curb Your Enthusiasm premieres October 1 on HBO.
