Justin Manfredi has joined AMC and Sundance TV as senior vice president of marketing, where he will be responsible for creating strategic and targeted campaigns to engage audiences across linear, digital and social platforms.

His role will focus on developing marketing plans that leverage technology, social and data to build and engage audiences around popular AMC properties including The Walking Dead, Fear The Walking Dead and Preacher as well as SundanceTV series Hap and Leonard and the upcoming Top of the Lake.

Manfredi will be based in New York, and will report to Linda Schupack, executive vice president of marketing for AMC and SundanceTV.

“In an increasingly fan-centric, direct-to-consumer world, strategic, brand building marketing that deeply resonates with audiences is more important than ever,” Schupack said in a statement. “Justin is an experienced and talented marketing executive with a background and skill set that is ideally suited to leverage both linear and digital platforms to the advantage of our business.”

Manfredi previously served as global senior director of digital marketing for Activision, where he led all aspects of digital, social and consumer data-driven strategies across the Call of Duty and Guitar Hero franchises.

Prior to that, he held senior roles at TBWA\Chiat\Day, David&Goliath, AKQA and Deutsch Inc. In 2015, he was named to Brand Innovators’ “40 Under 40.”
