Academy Award winner Julian Fellowes and German marketing pioneer Michael Schirner will keynote the PromaxBDA Europe 2015 Conference, the association said Tuesday in Los Angeles.

Fellowes and Schirner will join previously announced keynote speakers Sir Tom Stoppard and Lee Hunt when the association meets for its annual European gathering in Berlin next month.

Julian Fellowes is the creator, writer and executive producer of Downton Abbey, which premiered its fifth season on PBS in January. He is also working with NBC to create, write and produce The Gilded Age, described as “an epic tale of the princes of the American Renaissance and the vast fortunes they made—and spent—in late nineteenth century New York.” In 2002, Fellowes won the Academy Award for Best Original Screenplay for the film Gosford Park.

Michael Schirner is the CEO of Berlin’s Schirner Zang Institute of Art and Media. Schirner earned worldwide recognition for his campaigns and projects as CEO and creative director of the legendary GGK Advertising Agency, including work for global brands Adidas, IBM Germany and Volkswagen. He is a member of the German Advertising Hall of Fame.

The PromaxBDA Europe 2015 Conference will take place March 23-24 at the InterContinental Berlin. The annual conference is the European entertainment industry’s premiere event for marketing, promotion, and design professionals to share ideas, discover cutting-edge marketing techniques, and network with colleagues from across the continent. The gathering will culminate with a gala event marking the 2015 PromaxBDA Europe Awards, the annual celebration of the European market’s finest work in television promotion, marketing, and design.
