Judge Judy Sheindlin’s new syndicated court show “Hot Bench” will be in session starting this fall.
The half-hour show featuring three judges has been sold in 75 percent of the U.S. said Armando Nunez, president and CEO of the CBS Global Distribution Group, in a statement.
CBS Television Stations, Tribune Broadcasting Company, Sinclair Broadcast Group, Cox Media Group, Meredith Corp., LIN Television Corp., Nexstar Broadcasting Group, Journal Broadcast Group, Gray Television and Cowles Publishing Company have bought the strip, which will air mostly in afternoon and early-fringe periods.
Although “Hot Bench” was created by Judge Judy, the star of the top-rated show in syndicated has recruited a trio of legal eagles to serve on its bench.

Tanya Acker is a LA-based practicing attorney who TV commentator who has appeared on “Good Morning America,” “Anderson Cooper 360,” “Larry King Live,” and “The O’Reilly Factor.”
Larry Bakman has been in private practice in Los Angeles since 1983, focusing on complex criminal defense cases.
“Hot Bench” takes its title from a term used to describe a court where engaged judges frequently interrupt lawyers with questions.
